If the surfaces and floors of your place are buried in junk this is a good book for you. If you're already fairly tidy and can see your floors but are looking for tips to streamline your process or get a little further with your decluttering then this book might disappoint you, as it did me.

I already finished going through the method from The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing by Marie Kondo. No More Clutter may have been a good precursor to that but is not a great follow up.
I have read and re read this book over several years. It has really helped motivate and encourage me to declutter and simplify my life. I have bought and given it to friends and family members who have all found it very practical and helpful.
The mix between the organizing tips but also insignt in why we are doing that is very compelling. I recommended very much
I know I put it someplace "where I wouldnt forget where I put it" .... but it escapes my mind for the moment.
HOWEVER...this is the best book I have read on this subject. (OK, this one and the whole Messies Anonymous list of books too)
